1. As you probably noticed, the new USF website--including the new Library Homepage--is now Live! All the same information should be available, it's just arranged differently. Check it out and comment here with your opinions. Personally I think it looks great and can't wait to start using it.

One question you might have is where is the link to create guest user accounts. It's in the main menu under the large photo, on the right: "Gateways" --> "Library Staff"

2. I think ya'll have registered for Spring 2010 classes, so please fill out this availability form and email it to me / leave it in my mailbox by Dec 3, 2009.

3. As you saw in your email, on Wednesdays I will be working 9:30 - 5:30 indefinitely. This is only on Wednesdays, not any other day of the week. If it changes I will let you know. Thanks!

Hi everyone,

The Fall semester is beginning to wrap up and we're all looking ahead to what classes we are going to take in Spring. This means I want your schedule and your availability. Please fill out this form and either save it and email it back to me, or print it out and put it in my mailbox. I will release a draft schedule in early January and will tweak it as your schedule evolves.





FYI -- the less hours you say you are available to work, the less hours I will schedule you. If you want to work 10 hours a week and only tell me you are available those 10 hours, you will not get them all-- you will probably get around 6-8 hours a week. Other people deserve preference, too.

Also, I understand that many of you don't want to work early mornings, or Friday afternoon, or on the weekend. Well, someone has to do it. So if everyone tells me they can only work M-Th, no one will get very many hours.

Also, we may need some people to work a little over winter break, so if you are going to be around and want to work, let me know.

Just in case you know people who want to work here or patrons have been asking you, I don't foresee hiring any new people in the Spring, but if the person wants to fill out an application with their availability for Spring, I will keep it on file.

First of all, thanks for your continued work on the inventory project. We're currently in the P section, which means we're more than halfway through. Good job!

Also, the schedule has been changed a little bit, affecting Katie and Melodee. The updated schedule is available through the same USFfiles link as before, or you can click here to access it.
